Sheriff Timothy A. Swanson announces that in accordance with  Section 5120.10 of the Ohio Revised Code and Executive Order 92-03 of the Department of Rehabilitation and Correction, the Stark County Jail, a Full-Service jail, was inspected on Thursday, March 27, 2008. 

There were fifty-four (54) "Operational" Ohio Minimum Jail Standards assessed and fourteen (14) "Facility" Ohio Minimum Jail Standards assessed.  The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction's inspection reported that the Stark County Jail was in full compliance with all the standards.

    The Staff of the Stark County Jail are to be commended on receiving 100% compliance during this annual jail inspection.
